The Wildcats competed in the first day of the Concorde District Tournament at Chantilly High School. After the quarter final rounds, 11 of the 13 Wildcat wrestlers were still in competition. At the end of the consolation quarter-finals, all 11 Wildcats were still alive! 8 wrestlers will compete beginning tomorrow morning at 12:00 for the Consolation Semi-Finals. The winners of those matches will compete for 3rd place in the District and advance to the Regional Tournament next weekend. They include Jose Alcantara (112), Ricky Williams (119), Jackson Islin (130), David Micklus (140), Sean Carter (145), Mike Dikeman (152), Emilio Garcia (160), and Dan Johnson (215). Well done! Congratulations also to Brett Miller (171), Martin Seneca (189) and Chris Dean (HWT) who will be competing in the finals tomorrow beginning at 3pm.
