The Wildcats are in 7^th Place, going into the Final Rounds of regional tournament competition at Fairfax High School.  Five Wildcats are still in competition, heading into today’s matches.  Jackson Islin (130), David Micklus (140), Emilio Garcia (160), Brett Miller (171), and Martin Seneca (189) will be competing again today.  With State berths assured for Miller and Garcia, these two grapplers will wrestle in the Final Championships beginning at 6pm this evening.  Islin, Micklus, and Seneca will wrestle in the Consolation Quarter Finals beginning at Noon.  If successful, they will wrestle again immediately following the quarter final matches for 3^rd place and an opportunity to compete in Virginia AAA State Championship Tournament at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia.  CatsMat will provide a full summary of today’s tournament and the championship matches tonight - come back for a full wrap-up!  Click  here for a summary of all the matches.  Gallery One of pictures for Thursday and Friday can be found here.  Gallery Two, courtesy of Linda Johnson, is here.
